Our Role & Strategic Vision
The Chamber plays a vital role in providing strategic support and advocacy for its members, focusing on the implementation of the Maritime B-BBEE Charter and positioning itself as the key advocate for maritime policy. By offering services that encourage new and current entrepreneurs to enter and grow within the maritime industry, it also works to expand its membership base. Facilitating collaboration among stakeholders, the Chamber fosters dialogue on policy, business opportunities, and mutual concerns, ensuring industry-level perspectives are shaped without infringing on individual members’ autonomy.
